Importing Images

After you have installed and configured the Windows DS service, you can add additional Windows PE boot images (boot.wim) and Windows Vista install images (install.wim). This process is straightforward: Files Boot.wim and Install.wim from the Windows Vista media are used for this purpose. For example, you can add the boot image that MDT 2008 creates to Windows DS, allowing you to connect to deployment points and run MDT 2008 task sequences across the network.
