Creating a Panoramic Image

When you have a truly magnificent view, most point-and-shoot cameras are incapable of capturing it. The solution, available as a new feature in Windows Live Photo Gallery, is to snap a series of overlapping images and then "stitch" them together as a panoramic image. Assuming you start with images that were shot from roughly the same vantage point at roughly the same time with a decent amount of overlap (so that Photo Gallery can determine where each one fits in the overall panorama), the results should be acceptable, albeit thin.
