How This Book is Organized

You don’t have to read this book from cover to cover; it is organized into parts so you can find what you want easily. For instance, if you want only to set up a Windows Home Server–based PC, you can immediately skip to Chapter 10; if you know you want to set up an Ethernet network and you already have the hardware, you can skip to Chapter 4. However, if you don’t know much about home networking, you may want to read the first part, Part I, in its entirety before moving forward.
