You don’t just need to take care of your network PCs by securing them with software such as firewalls and antivirus programs; you also need to take care of the hardware that connects them to each other. The computers themselves need a little TLC too; every once in a while you should use canned air to blow dust from the PC’s tower and verify there’s enough airflow getting to it.
