Chapter Summary

In this chapter, you learned how to create, configure, manage, and access shared folders. You learned about share permissions and NTFS permissions, and you learned how to apply them. I hope you’ve decided to share folders by using simple share permissions and to keep any personal data you do not want shared out of your shared folders. This is the best way to secure your personal files. Remember, though, an administrator can access all files on your computer, so make sure you’re the only administrator if you want to really keep your stuff private!
