Add PCs

With the hub, switch, or router installed and configured and with a working cable modem or other Internet connection, you can now add PCs to your wired Ethernet network.

Tip

No matter what happens when you physically add the second Windows Vista–based PC—for instance, if you can connect to the Internet and therefore think the network automatically configured itself—you still need to work through the following steps. You must add the new PC to the network properly.
