Ask for Remote Assistance

You can also ask an online friend for assistance. Windows Remote Assistance is a good way to solve a problem if you have a friend you trust who you think can solve your problem. When you ask for help using Remote Assistance, you will let your friend (or technical support person) connect to your PC. Then, either they can walk you through the problem or you can hand over control of your PC to them and let them solve the problem. Remote Assistance was introduced in Chapter 13, when compared to Remote Desktop. Both Remote Assistance and Remote Desktop use the same underlying remote technologies.
