Play Games Using Windows Vista and Media Center

Let’s assume you’re not a rabid gamer and you don’t have Xbox 360. But once in awhile, you enjoy a good game of Solitaire or Minesweeper. Never fear, the Windows Vista operating system is here. It comes installed with a few games (and you can always install new ones) that you can access through Media Center.

These are the games included with Windows Vista:

  • Chess Titans

  • FreeCell

  • Hearts

  • Inkball

  • Mahjong Titans

  • Purble Place

  • Solitaire

  • Spider Solitaire

To open and play any of these games using Media Center, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Start screen.

  2. Scroll to Online Media.

  3. Click Program Library.

  4. Click the game you want to play.
