Shared storage is one of the primary reasons for the invention of the local area network (LAN), and Microsoft Windows Small Business Server (SBS) 2008 creates a number of shared folders as part of its default configuration. Once you have installed Windows SBS 2000, you can add more storage to your server and create as many shares as needed to support your users. You can also deploy additional servers on the network to provide even more file services.
