Summary

In this chapter, we’ve covered the basics of setting up and configuring Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, which is a core component of Windows Small Business Server 2008. We included how to configure the new POP3 E-mail Connector for SBS. We covered two more advanced topics, mail-enabling contacts and adding an additional e-mail domain name, as a window into the rich additional feature set that is possible with the Exchange Management Console or by using the Exchange Management Shell and Windows PowerShell. All the commands that are performed from the Exchange Management Console can be saved as Windows Power-Shell scripts and executed directly from Windows PowerShell as scripts or interactive commands.
