Introduction to Group Policies

With the introduction of Active Directory in Windows 2000, Microsoft provided an advanced policies implementation known as Group Policy. Although it is conceptually similar to the policy features originally available in Windows NT, Group Policy provides a much more robust and centralized way of managing Windows policies.
