Summary

Let's summarize what we accomplished in this chapter. We started with the overview of SCVMM as the product, and then we went through what makes SCVMM 2012 more interesting for Hyper-V and other hypervisors available in the market today. After getting familiar with the product, we went through the step-by-step deployment of the product. Then in the next section, we addressed the basic configuration, which makes your SCVMM environment ready to slowly move towards production. In this section, we saw how to create host groups and clouds, and in addition to this, we also saw how to add the Hyper-V host into the SCVMM environment.
