In Chapter 1, Getting to Know Microsoft Hyper-V, we covered the fundamental concepts of Hyper-V, where we discussed Hyper-V as a hypervisor for your server virtualization needs. Then we moved on with the discussion of Hyper-V deployment scenarios, for example server consolidation, physical-to-virtual (P2V) migration, research and development, business continuity planning and disaster recovery, and cloud computing.
