Monitoring the Remote Access Server

The Remote Access Management Console includes excellent tools to monitor the activity of the remote clients, including both DirectAccess and traditional VPN remote clients. The console has been completely redesigned to provide administrators with better insight on the overall health of the remote access services, how clients are connecting, and what those clients are doing.

The console has 5 sections: 4 for management (Dashboard, Operations Status, Remote Client Status, and Reporting) and 1 for configuration (aptly named Configuration).
