Installing the Subsystem for UNIX-Based Applications
The SUA component is available as a feature on Windows Server 2012. You can install it as follows:
1. From Server Manager, click Manage – Add Roles and Features.
2. Click Next at the Before You Begin screen.
3. Choose a Role-Based or Feature-Based Installation and click Next.
4. Select the server from the server pool where the component will be installed and click Next.
5. From the list of roles to install, click Next to continue (because the SUA component is not a role, but a feature).
6. Select the Subsystem for UNIX-based Applications from the Features list and click Next to continue.
7. Click Install, and then click Close when complete.
