Supporting Client Use Profiles

We’ve talked a lot about servers—and specifically the Terminal Services role—in this chapter. But you also need to take the users into consideration when planning. What kinds of computers do you need? What licensing model should you follow to best support their work patterns?

PC or Thin Client?

This is another one of those "it depends" situations. The reasons that make thin client devices a requirement for some people just don’t apply to all situations, and the same is true for PCs.
