In this chapter we have seen how access to Internet Information Services Web Sites can be secured in normal operation. From anonymous authentication, where the information provided is publicly readable, to use of advanced techniques such as client certificates and federated identity services, many methods to secure authentication are available, each with advantages and disadvantages.
