Routing and Remote Access Services

This chapter assumes that you are already familiar with previous versions of Routing And Remote Access Services (RRAS) and will therefore focus on what is new and improved in Windows Server 2008. This chapter focuses in particular on what I think is the most important addition: Secure Socket Tunneling Protocol (SSTP), which is an SSL VPN technology. Technology like this was previously available only as separate products from Microsoft and third-party vendors. If you need to establish a foundation of knowledge on RRAS, you should visit the links provided in the Additional Resources section at the end of this chapter.
