7. Step 3: Design the Print Services Infrastructure

With the information regarding the business goals and scope from Step 1 and the printer inventory data collected in Step 2, the Print Services infrastructure can now be designed.

Take into account any additional roles that the server will be supporting. Often, File Services and Print Services are combined on one system. If this is the case, use the requirements of both roles when designing the server.
