Task 1: Determine Whether Replication Is Required
Use the following sequence to determine if there is any need for replication in the Windows Server 2008 File Services infrastructure:
Examine the inventory of the existing infrastructure that was collected in Step 2 and determine if replication is already in use. If replication is currently used, it may need to be designed in the new infrastructure. Compare the replication that is currently in place with the requirements for replication that were determined in Step 1, and against the current priorities for replicated data, as determined above.
