7. Step 3: Design the File Services Infrastructure

With the information regarding the business goals and scope from Step 1 and the inventory data collected in Step 2, it is now possible to begin designing the File Services infrastructure.

This step covers most of the tasks necessary to design the basic File Services infrastructure. That design may then be adjusted in subsequent steps that address replication and namespace services.
