Task 2: Verify Special Requirements

It is important to understand the background to any special circumstances that exist in the File Services infrastructure. Requirements for encryption, retention, shadow copies, backup, and fault tolerance that may have dictated aspects of the file server design in the past in order to comply with government or industry regulations may no longer apply or may have been superseded. Document any implementations of these in the File Information Job Aid located in Appendix A so that they can be validated against current requirements during the design phase in Step 3.
