New Trust Features in Windows Server 2003
Windows Server 2003 offers the following trust-related features:
A new trust wizard. Both sides of the trust can be created in one operation. You must have credentials from both parties in the proposed trust relationship.
Incoming Forest Trust builders. A new group that can create inbound forest trusts. There are no members in this group by default.
Trust over firewalls is possible using a reduced number of ports.
Users can now use the User Principal Name (UPD) format (user@usersdomain.com) for authentication even when logging on from another forest.
