Authorization Manager Framework

The Authorization Manager Framework enables the development and administration of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) programs. Developers use the Authorization Manager Framework's Authorization Manager RBAC application programming interface (API) to develop the application, including the definition of user roles. Administrators use the Authorization Manager Microsoft Management Console snap-in to manage the applications by assigning user groups to role definitions.
