Launchers and Choosers in Detail

The following sections cover each launcher and chooser class in detail. There is some repetition in the structure of several of the sections, but each is intended to be self-contained to allow you to look up a particular launcher or chooser when needed.

The examples presented in this chapter show tasks used directly from within viewmodel classes. Chapter 24, “Unit Testing Apps,” looks at techniques for removing the dependency on the Windows Phone FCL (Framework Class Library) for XAML apps, which allows your code to be more portable across other platforms.
