Button and Menu Item Visibility
AppBar brings some extended features, including the ability to show or hide a button or menu item using its Visibility property. This is not easily achievable with the built-in ApplicationBar class, because to hide an item in the application bar requires the item’s removal from the ApplicationBar. AppBar takes care of this automatically by repopulating the application bar when the visibility of an item changes.
