Configuring Slow-Link Detection

A computer connected to a local area network (LAN) does not necessarily have a fast link, nor does a computer connected using a remote connection necessarily have a slow link. The default value for what Group Policy considers a slow link is any rate slower than 500 kilobits per second (Kbps). You can change this threshold by using Group Policy.
