Configuring External Access to RWW

Access to RWW depends essentially on two factors. First, clients must be able to properly resolve the name of the Remote Access URL. Second, clients should trust the issuer of the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificate that is installed on the Messaging Server (where the RWW site is hosted) and that is assigned to the Web listener for the Remote Web Workplace Publishing Rule on the Security Server.

To enable access to RWW from the Internet, you therefore need to perform two tasks: First, configure public Domain Name System (DNS) for RWW, and second, configure certificate settings for RWW.
