Summary
After you run the Preparation and Planning Wizards, you are ready to install the Windows EBS servers. First, make sure that you have backed up your critical servers, and then make any physical preparations such as creating hardware RAIDs and physically connecting the Windows EBS machines to your network. If you are planning to replace your existing firewall with the Windows EBS Security Server, you should leave the external adapter of your Security Server unplugged until you are prompted to connect it to the Internet.
Then use the Windows EBS installation discs to perform Windows EBS server installation in this order: Management Server, Security Server, and Messaging Server. This process normally requires at least two days.
