Exporting the Configuration

After you complete Windows EBS installation, you should export a copy of the configuration to an XML file. This configuration is currently stored in the Windows EBS Configuration Store.

To export the Windows EBS configuration to an XML file, perform the following steps:

  1. To export settings, open a command prompt with elevated privileges and run the command mmsutils/export. The Export Configuration Wizard appears.

  2. Read the Before You Begin page, and then click Next.

  3. On the Choose A File Name page, click Browse to change the default file name and location. Specify a secure location and a name that you can remember.

  4. Click Export to save the settings to an XML file.

  5. On the Finish page, click Close.
