Common Platform Code

The Platform directory contains another directory named Common that contains the source code of function libraries that Microsoft supplies, which are available to developers while building their own BSP (boot loader, OAL and drivers). These libraries implement most of the required functionality that is common for all BSPs. Common libraries do not contain code that is dependent on a specific platform based on a specific implementation of a microprocessor chip.
