Putting It All Together with the Maintenance Wizard
 | In this section, I'll examine a new utility that combines many of the items you've seen so far in this chapter and other chapters. It's called the Maintenance Wizard, and it enables you to schedule routine maintenance tasks. Specifically, this wizard creates new Task Scheduler jobs that run any of the following four utilities: DriveSpace, Scan Disk, Disk Defragmenter, and Disk Cleanup Manager. This is much easier than setting up all these utilities by hand; so although the Maintenance Wizard is designed for novice users, it's also a boon to power users. |
