Multiple LAN Connections

Most desktop computers sit where they are installed, gathering dust until they’re obsolete (or in some cases, long afterwards—a neighbor recently asked if I had a Windows 95 repair disc). But portable computer users often carry their computers from office to office, docking or plugging in to several LANs. Although Windows makes it very easy for you to manage different dial-up and VPN connections, it’s difficult to manage connections to different LANs if the network configuration settings are manually set.
