Changing Wireless Settings

If you have to change the security information for an existing wireless connection, use one of these methods:

• Click the network icon in the taskbar or in the Settings charm. Right-click the wireless network, and then click View Connection Properties. The wireless network’s Properties dialog box appears with the Security tab displayed.

• Right-click the taskbar’s Network icon, click Open Network and Sharing Center, click Change Adapter Settings, right-click the wireless adapter, click Status, click Wireless Properties, and then click the Security tab.

Either way, you can now use the Security tab to change the security type and security key.
