Opening the Programs and Features Window

In the Start screen, press Windows Logo+W to open the Settings search pane, type programs, and then click Programs and Features in the search results. This opens the Programs and Features window, shown in Figure 27.5. This operates as a kind of one-stop shop for your installed desktop applications.

Items that can be modified or uninstalled via Programs and Features have corresponding Registry entries that come from the following Registry key:

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall ...
