Working with Disk Files
All the Windows 8 press focuses on the new interface and apps, but Windows 8 implements a few other new features that should have all power users leaping with joy. The ability to implement storage spaces (described earlier) is one, and the other is the ability to work directly with disk files, specifically disc images and virtual hard disks. The rest of this chapter takes you through these new and very welcome features.
