Changing the View

The icons in File Explorer’s content area can be viewed in no less than eight different ways, which seems a tad excessive to us, but Windows has never been about restraint when it comes to interface choices. To see a list of these views, display the View tab and then click the More arrow that appears in the lower-right corner of the Layout gallery. You get four choices for icon sizes: Extra Large Icons (shortcut key: Ctrl+Alt+1), Large Icons (Ctrl+Alt+2; see also Figure 24.8), Medium Icons (Ctrl+Alt+3), and Small Icons (Ctrl+Alt+4).
