Finding a Message
Although you’ll delete many of the messages that come your way, it’s unlikely that you’ll delete all of them. Over time, you’ll probably end up with hundreds (or more likely thousands) of messages stored throughout various folders. What happens if you want to find a particular message? Even if you curmudgeonly delete everything that comes your way, your Sent Items folder will eventually contain copies of the hundreds or thousands of missives you’ve sent out. What do you do if you want to find one of those messages?
For both incoming and outgoing messages, Mail offers a decent Find Message feature that can look for messages based on addresses, subject lines, body text, dates, and more.
