Our apologies to The Rocky Horror Picture Show, but Windows 8 just begs to be touched, prodded, and poked. The Start screen and the Windows 8–style interface only truly make sense the first time you interact with Windows 8 as it was meant to be used: on a tablet or on a desktop computer with a multitouch monitor. Scrolling, selecting, and manipulating objects on the screen feels completely natural and intuitive, even pleasurable.
