Installing and Configuring Hyper-V

To install Hyper-V on Windows 8, press Windows Logo+X and select Control Panel. Select Programs and then select Turn Windows Features On or Off. Check the Hyper-V box and click OK. Windows will need to restart once or twice.

When you log back on, at the Start screen select Hyper-V Manager. Once this opens on the desktop, you may wish to right-click its icon in the taskbar and select Pin This Program to Taskbar.
