Creating a Tile to Restart Windows

Windows 8 no longer provides the traditional desktop Start menu, so there is no Restart command accessible from the Start button. Windows 8 does offer a variety of other ways to restart your computer. You can restart it by clicking the Power button accessible from the Settings charms, by using the Sign out screen, or by pressing Alt+F4 when you are in the desktop. And you can restart it by pressing the Power button or closing the lid if you are using a laptop. But you can save time by creating a tile directly on the Start screen to restart Windows quickly and easily. This task explains how to create a Start screen tile to restart Windows.
