10.7. Share a Folder with Other Users on the Network

You can collaborate with other people on your network and allow users to work with some of your documents by sharing a folder with the network.

The purpose of most networks is to share resources between the computers connected to the network. For example, the users on a network can share a single printer or an Internet connection.

This resource sharing also applies to documents. It might be a presentation that you want other people to comment on, a database with information that you want others to use, or a worksheet that you want people to modify.
