You can make computing safer for your children by activating the Windows 7 parental controls feature.

Many aspects of computing are not safe for young children. For example, many games have violent or mature content that should not be seen by children younger than a certain age. You can restrict games and other content by activating the parental controls feature. Parental controls also enable you to set time limits on computer use.

Parental controls are also useful for keeping your computer safe from the activities of innocent or inexperienced users. For example, you can prevent children from running certain programs that might be confusing or too difficult to use.
