7.7. Improve Searching by Adding More Search Engines
You can make your Web searches more powerful by adding your favorite search engines to the Internet Explorer Search box. With billions of pages, the World Wide Web is an amazing information resource. However, it can also be a frustrating resource because finding the page you want among those billions is a real challenge. You can ask friends and family, or you can use a site such as Yahoo.com that categorizes pages, but these strategies are often unreliable.
To find the site you want, you can take advantage of the various search engines that enable you to find Web pages based on the search text you provide. The Internet Explorer Search box uses the Bing site to perform its searches.
