Manipulating and Viewing Disks with diskpart

The diskpart command is a shell command you can access from the command line. After you enter diskpart, the DISKPART> prompt appears and you can enter diskpart commands from there.

The diskpart command requires elevated permissions. If you try to launch it from a normal command prompt, you’ll be prompted by User Account Control to continue. If you click Yes, another command prompt window will open with elevated permissions.
