Windows Live ID

Windows Live ID allows you to sign in once with one ID to access multiple services, including Windows Live Essentials, Hotmail, MSN, Xbox Live, Zune, and more. You may already have an account that you can use for your Windows Live ID. If you have one of the following accounts, you can use the e-mail address and password from that account:

  • MSN
  • Hotmail
  • Messenger
  • Xbox Live
  • Zune

Typically these accounts are also e-mail accounts, such as yourname@live.com;yourname@msn.com, yourname@hotmail.com, etc. If you don't have any of those accounts, it's easy to get one.
