Using Paint

Paint is a bitmap graphics program that opens most popular picture and image formats. Some common uses for it are creating pictures to add to documents or for light duty touch up or cropping of photos. While it doesn't have the power of a professional graphics program like Adobe Illustrator, Paint also doesn't have the complexity.

Paint uses the Office-type Ribbon, similar to WordPad, but with some different tools. Almost all of the tools and features you need are on the Home tab. The View tab provides controls for zooming in and out, showing rulers, and gridlines, and displaying the picture full screen.
