Using Games

Windows 7 provides the Games Explorer folder to organize the games installed on your computer, sort of like a Library for games. Microsoft includes several free Windows 7 games. Which games are available and visible on your computer depends on several things.

  • Your version of Windows 7: Windows Basic/Starter edition, the version installed on many netbooks, does not include several multi-player Internet games, Mahjong Titans, or Chess Titans.
  • Work policy: Games are not always installed in some business-oriented versions, or because of an employer's policy for work computers.
