Security Suites
Windows 7 includes its own firewall, Windows Firewall, and its own spyware protection program, Windows Defender. It does not provide virus protection software, so you must obtain a third-party virus protection software program. Some companies offer a virus protection program by itself or as part of an Internet security suite. Security suites usually include their own firewall that replaces Windows Firewall, spyware protection, and their own security center page that tells you at a glance what the status of your system is.
