Getting Additional Online Help from Microsoft

Microsoft Support now offers a free new online resource called Microsoft Fix it. The online troubleshooters it provides do more than diagnose and suggest solutions, they can also automatically repair problems. So instead of telling you what to do, you can tell Fix it to do it for you. This new service was launched long after the release of Windows 7, and can solve problems with Windows, Internet Explorer, Windows Media Player, Xbox, Office, and other products. You can access the Fix it Center at http://support.microsoft.com/fixit/. Figure 17–42 displays the opening page, where you can find solutions by product type or problem type.
